Kaixo Solar Farm.
Latin-America´s largest solar farm for electricity generation.
The farm will comprise photovoltaic solar panels, manufactured by Solarworld giving a total peak direct current (DC) capacity of 1.32 megaWatts.
The construction project will generate 50 ‐100 employment opportunities, giving locals the opportunity to develop their expertise in renewable energy project construction.
The Mexican territory has an average solar radiation above 5 kWh per meter per day, which ranks it as one of the highest irradiation levels region in the world. Mexico is located in the so called “sunbelt”, that places it among the countries with the highest solar power generation potential worldwide.
